I am a complete shutterbug. I have always enjoyed taking pictures and since joining the world of smart phones I have the convenience of not having to carry around my bulky camera. I can take pictures with my phone and the quality is good. How about that! When asked if I would be willing to review the iTunes app, Free Prints I was super excited.
Photoaffections Free Print App
I hoped that it would be my answer to endless amounts of pictures on my phone that I wish I would get printed to share with family or that have just gotten lost and forgotten. And guess what? IT IS! This app is one you will LOVE and so will your friends and family that you share the prints with. One of the best things about the app is that you actually get 4×6 prints for free! You get up to 1,000 free prints in a year! Who doesn’t like free!!
You have the option to order different sizes for a price and shipping is minimal as well. You can also edit the photos! Talk about a handy app! This not only saves you the time of going to a store and standing at a kiosk or taking the time to load the pictures and then ordering at your computer. I can’t sing the praises of this app enough!
To add to its awesomeness the app itself is free to download from the iTunes store, it’s compatible for the:
A triple Apple threat AND you can access and print your photos you’ve taken and uploaded from:
- Your Phone Album
With the holidays headed our way- this is the best way to take pictures and just access the app, request print and they will be mailed in a secure envelope so that your prints aren’t damaged. Once you set you your account and you send off your first print requests, you will get an email confirming your order. When prints are on the way to you, you’ll get an email. I think the prints will take about 3-4 days to get to you. Mine took 5, only because there was a holiday in between ordering and receiving. I’ll be using the heck out of this app come Halloween- I love seeing everyone all dressed up!
Thanksgiving I’ll be taking pictures of our family enjoying the Thanksgiving feast and of course Christmas! Christmas program pictures at school aren’t going to be sitting in my queue to print- they will be sent off before I even leave the events! This is one app I highly recommend you try.You will be so excited you did- and your photo albums will appreciate you filling them up again too.
