The kids are always famished when they get home for school so the first thing I did was shop for snacks I could feed them quickly and easily.
While taking a stroll down the cereal isle in Walmart I grabbed Daddy’s favorite Captain Crunch, as well as Chewy dipped granola bars and their favorite Quaker Instant Oatmeal in a giant value pack of 2o. That is when it came to me, “I’ll make a bunch of muffins with their favorite flavors.” It is perfect, I like making muffins and it is a better choice when we are in a hurry for breakfast or as an after school snack.

This was our first week of school and just like I thought, they came home starving. All the snacks I bought at Walmart and the muffins I made have worked out perfectly.Instead of all the kids coming at me at once I have snacks ready for them to choose from. The portions are the right size and they can nibble while they read or do their other home work.
