Before baby girl was born, I received my first fitted cloth diaper to try out from Little Smudgeez, it’s the Pink/Lime Ooga Booga, isn’t it adorable:
Ok, I’ll admit it. I hugged and squished the fitted diaper to my face, it is beyond soft.
This fitted cloth diaper is a comfy fitted diaper and it worked nicely with all my diaper covers. The first couple of uses, I didn’t really need covers though. Once baby girl started drinking more, I needed the covers, but it was only slightly moist on the outside. This fitted diaper was thick, but comfortable.
Features I liked about this fitted cloth diaper (newborn size),The belly button snap. The snap pulls the cloth diaper away from the umbilical cord stub. I didn’t have to fold and move the diaper out of the way like I do my flat diapers. The contoured shape. It is soft and it forms to baby’s legs to help avoid the accidents. The super soft outer and inner.Front snaps to adjust for growth.

From a person who has been using pre-folds and cover type cloth diapers — These fitted diapers are wonderful and very easy to use. These fitted diapers are very absorbent, but will require covers once your newborn starts feeding more. Which for me was after the first week of use.
