Recipes

As far back as I can remember cooking has been a passion for me.  Creating recipes from scratch has always been more interesting than following the instructions.  There is always trial and error, but as long as it tastes good and my family will eat it that is all that matters.

We are a large family so many of the recipes I create will feed 8 people and offer leftovers.  There are many days when we lack ingredients or we are counting days until payday.  That is ok with me because I like the challenge of making new recipes or recreating old ones with whatever I can find in the pantry.

I will add fairly easy and inexpensive recipes you will find them below or you can search the blog.

  1. I’m making your box potato stroganoff recipe and I can no longer find it. I believe I put the potatoes into a 2 cup measuring cup with boiling water and set it aside until I get the hamburger done. Is this correct?
