Tommee Tippee Explora Review

There is that time in every little persons life, when they begin to transition from bottle and his or her parents feeding them, to the freedom of feeding themselves. This is the time when I start to get extra clothes to wash and have the mop ready.  All my little ones, when they begin their  eating adventure, throw their plates and cups. That is why I was interested in reviewing the Tommee Tippee Explora series for you.

First Up: The Tommee Tippee Explora Easi-Mat & Weaning Bowl with Spoon.

The easi-mat sat well on the table and did provide a non slip surface.  At first my daughter went for it, but now she just knows it keeps her bowls and plates on the table and she likes it.  The mat seems to work with more than just the Tommee Tippee bowls, it also worked with our other plates on bowls. The bowls are nice and a good size, they of course fit on the easi-mat.  As you can see from the picture she liked the spoon and was using it very well.  They are sturdy and have so far stood up against her abuse, LOL.  She is in middle of a throwing stage, fun!  I suspect they will last till the next baby as well.

Next Up: The Explora Water Bottle

UPDATE: About a month after this review, the inner piece (the spill proof piece) fell out.  This piece needs to be clicked back into place often.  This creates either a down poor when your little one begins to drink or it comes out just enough to where they are sucking air.I put mine in the dishwasher, this may have warped the pieces that hold the spill proof insert in place. Ok, my daughter does enjoy this cup.  I wasn’t sure she would from the straw like nozzle, but she does.  It is indeed spill proof even after a few throws on the ground. There are different textures for easy handling of the cup.  It holds 12 oz and easy to clean.
